Taking a wee holiday this week at my mum’s and getting to know this wee munchkin. We sadly lost our Daisy Dog last Spring. She reached the grand old age of 15 and had a long, good life. I was so sad for the loss of her I couldn’t bring myself to post about it. She is still very much missed.? . My mum was determined that she wouldn’t get another dog after Daisy as she’s getting on a bit but she was pining so much for a wee beastie about the place the search for a new one started a couple of months later. After meeting two ladies with Border Terriers whilst out on a walk we thought they could be a good breed to look for. Not too big, not too small and they love to snuggle. . A short while later…this little bundle arrived with us just on Friday. She is named Miss Madeline Salt Spearmint or Maddie for short. And she certainly is a wee maddie! So adorable and just a joy. A wonderful addition to the family. A nine week old Border Terrier, she settled really quickly and is such fun. Learning very quickly and toilet training is…well…a work in progress but getting somewhere. An absolute delight.????
