 The ghost of wallpaper. Painting over walls I just wallpapered last week just seems a bit weird but it did leave an interesting faint impression of the formerly hung vintage embossed paper on the wall. More adventures in film stuff.

 It’s the latest fashion and my latest make. Lots of fun making these “rock” shoes for performance costume, commissioned by @zephyrliddell to go with the crazy gorse eyeballs. Zephyr’s costume is going to look amazing once it’s all put together. Can’t wait to see it all. Latex coated foam shaped around some deck shoes. Trimmed and cut to look like they’ve been chiselled. Particularly pleased with the odd pinking shears cut marks that look like wavy chisel marks. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Accoutrements for a costume designed by the ever fabulous @zephyrliddell. One of them was embedded flower resin casts. They worked out satisfactorily. Will be interesting to see how they will look in a week. Always learning new things and will aim to try it out again when I have more time (theoretically). Got some new ideas and materials to work with so that’s always a success in my book. More foam rocks to show you too but not going to spoil you too much all at once.

Feels like a lifetime ago. It was my first proper big prop making job and I was stressed out my box over it but it turned out ok in the end. Thanks to Andy Drummond @drummerboy11067179 for giving me the opportunity and for keeping asking me back on jobs. I must be doing something right! If anyone sees it on regular TV let me know! .
