 Having fun with Apoxie Clay, a new (to me) epoxy putty like Milliput but comes in big tubs. It's quite expensive but I'm liking it so far, it really does feel more clay like but sticks to the fingers just as much as other epoxy putties. A dilemma to wear gloves but not feel things properly. Working on drawings for a new project and decided to treat myself to a new graphics tablet as my last one didn't work on new OS upgrades a while back. Very annoying. I tried it with a partitioned old OS and to my surprise it did work for while but then stopped. So I had to face it and get a new one. 15 years ain't bad value though. New one isn't fancy or big but it's great. I had forgotten how much easier it was to draw than tackling things with a mouse. It's messy and not complete but getting somewhere. The trouble is, it's difficult (and expensive) to get true fluorescent white paint and any highlights made with white paint that you can see in daylight go purple or disappear under UV. Though I'm pleased to see the fluorescent paint mixed with regular acrylic still has a bit of a glow to it. I think I'm going go again but a little differently. Yellow as highlights or just shell out for some white...hmmm. I think my folks got the dining set when they got married (in 1969!) and they haven't been renovated since. I've already done 4 but still 2 to go. They have been getting new foam and a change from green to purple fabric as that my mum's favourite colour. The original foam was so old and boggin'; it was literally crumbling in my hands. Really gross.
