It was certainly a baptism of fire and not only because of the scorching weather that weekend. Summer has happened more than only this year in Scotland!😂 A fabulous project converting a caravan into a piece of sculpture sent to music and performance. Went to see the Ray Harryhausen exhibition in Edinburgh today. Been meaning to go for ages and it was well worth the wait. Thoroughly enjoyed it along with seeing pals in a pub again! All the good stuff. I must go watch the Golden Voyage of Sinbad again, one of my favourites as a kid. Loved the statue of Kali coming to life. Awesomeness!!

So that means a bottle of fizz to pop! It had to be pink this time as it feels like it should make things cooler somehow 🥵. A tradition I started a while back for when each job gets finished. Well, you gotta sign it off somehow.😁 3 and a half months of dashing about like loon as a tv drama runner. Learnt loads, met more wonderful people and got to drive a wee van about (one of my great enjoyments). Big thanks to everyone on the production. . Will have a bit of a chill to recover and then in to the workshop I go, and see what next exciting projects come my way.

Not been too much excitement going on here but I did manage to sand and varnish my mum’s Parker Knoll sofa frame and got some more shelves up, so it’s progress. Hopefully there will be more interesting projects to show soon! But first it’s going to be a very interesting organisation bonanza. This here workshop won’t know what’s hit it! . But for now I’m away to my maw’s to sit in the garden in the sun.
