 Last Daisy dog walk of 2020 visiting my favourite tree. It’s a giant oak, very sprawley and goodness knows how old. Perfect for climbing. I bet it’s seen many a crazy year though. I’ve always imagined it harbouring a pursued, cow rustling Rob Roy McGregor or other local legend over the last few centuries. It will likely still be standing long after we’ve all turned to dust. Decided to make a compilation of pretty much everything I’ve made this year. A whole year condensed into 8 secs. Yikes! It’s certainly sobering to think all those many many many...many hours can be squashed so small but satisfying to see it all in one place. Some pics are fuzzed as can’t show you properly yet, might be overkill but I don’t want to get in trouble!
2020 has been a bit of a rollercoaster to say the least. Started out well, then came to an abrupt halt for quite some time, then the last few months have been thankfully busy busy busy. I feel very lucky to come out of this year in mostly one piece. I’ve met so many wonderful new people this year who (along with those I already know) have given me valuable advice, support and actual proper work, so a big thank you to you all. . I know a lot of people have been hit exceptionally hard this year and we all still have quite a while to go before we can get rid of this virus but we will. Keep on truckin’, we’ll all get there. Not for me though, I may be wee but I’m not that wee. It is for to house a wee gas tank so it (hopefully) doesn’t freeze its butt off over the winter. A cosy dwelling to be stuffed with straw. Using my signature old, shonky found plywood, everything a bit bendy, a bit rough and ready but with a lick of paint she’ll be lookin’ braw.😁🏚💨

Not a scientific, nor exhaustive separation and allocation but big, small, smaller and brass picture hook nails will suffice. The random huge and bent ones will go to the great garage in the sky. There were some tricky moments though. Some were borderline on the small or smaller category - which way do you go? It could mean the end of civilisation if you make the wrong choice????😬 Or may be it will be ok. I don’t know why I have so many random pins and nails. Not sure from whence they ever came apart from some particular panel pins. No matter, they are mine and I will choose to sort and love them. And maybe one day use them...for something. After all, that is their sole purpose in life. If they are alive. Are nails alive? Is it the Buddhists who say all things have a soul? I’m not sure. I’m not religious. However, sorting these from chaos into some semblance of order has, at the very least, lightened my soul just a little.☺️
