 During lockdown I may have been fairly industrious in my flat but it always means I start thinking about tools...I may have bought a few things... Today I received my new hot wire foam cutter made by a chap on eBay. Very neat and basic but will do the job nicely I think and very affordable. I’ve not been in my workshop the last week as I’ve had a job on that took me away and will last another 2 weeks so it will be some time before I can try out this new baby. Oh the possibilities!😲

 Woohoo! First casting of Sir Didymus’ legs looks successful. A wee cheeky single pour and cut open silicone mould with good ol’ EasyFlo 60 cast, seemed to work out fine. The other SD parts have 2 part moulds so they will need to wait until tomorrow when the second parts are cured. Advantages and disadvantages of slow and fast cure silicones can be many but when all you got is time, no need to rush.

I do like orange. I dyed the boring beige fabric I had and painted the also boring beige buttons I had with an acrylic paint and fabric medium mix to make it fabric friendly. It will be a nice sunny, comfy addition to my boudoir.
