 Pondering post... I was sitting having my breakfast and pondering the sausage dog photo on my living room wall. I took it, shooting from the hip, on a street somewhere in Italy in 2001. It's fuzzy, candid and I really like it. Yes, because it has a dog in it but also because of it's jaunty angle. I always look at it across from my table but today I noticed something new. The couple in the background (with their shadows) are walking in unison. Their feet are perfectly aligned. Their upper bodies are not. They are not holding hands or looking in the same direction, let alone making eye contact. They may not have been a couple or even know each other...but the feet! The feet tell a different story.
