Poodles and Pigsticks Fly to the Moon

This is a kids' picture book I wrote and Illustrated around 2009 called "Poodles & Pigsticks fly to the Moon" when I thought I wanted to be an illustrator. The story centres around two little pig siblings who use their imagination, and various household items, to fly to the moon and have an adventure. The names of the little pigs are the nicknames my brother and me called each other when we were kids but that is where the similarity ends. We never went to the moon but I can tell you there are definitely purple googly-eyed rabbits who live there, don't ask me how I know. I had sent the little book that I hand made to lots of publishers but to my great shock and surprise (not really) no one wants to know. However, my friends' kids loved it so that's good enough for me and I thought why not put it online for all to see and enjoy the world of Pigsticks...

​*and yes, I do know there is a kids' book about a hamster and a pig who the same name but I wrote this first, used the name as my "production company" at college in the mid 90s (see final credits in my animations) and my brother made up my nickname around 1984. Coincidence? Yeah, probably.
